 | A road scattered with ash from the nearby volcano, this path is blocked off by officials of the Pokemon League at the way-point a few kilometers in. The initial path has very rugged and powerful Pokemon ranging from Skarmory to even the dreaded Aggron. After the first obstacles have been overcome, the waypoint, constructed over ten years ago, lies at the middle to provide a safe point to rest and recuperate for the more experienced trainers. Beyond the waypoint, only the gym leaders and elite four are even remotely aware of the intensely powerful Pokemon that reside in the even harsher domain.
